community service
A key component in the Greater Frisco programming is community service.
A key component in the Greater Frisco programming is community service. One of our deepest desires is to bring mothers and children together in the spirit of stewardship to create stronger communities and establish a renewed sense of service. From maintaining the environment to supporting needy families, serving the community in some capacity is an important aspect of who Greater Frisco is a chapter.
GFR Adopt-a-Family Community Service Program
In an effort to make sure the holidays are filled with wonder and joy, the Greater Frisco Chapter adopts a family who is struggling financially, and provides the family members with the items on their wish lists. The GFR Adopt a Family service project presented $2,200 in gift cards to Mr. Carlton Little at Tadlock Elementary. Mr. Little was overwhelmed with appreciation, and fought back tears for how heartfelt and generous our GFR mothers were with their gifts for him and his children. Mr. Little was also commended on his commitment to fathering his 7 children.
