Teen Conference 2019
In 2019 the Mothers of Greater Frisco welcomed all chapters of the South Central Region to the Gaylord Hotel and Resort for Teen Conference. Hundreds of Jack and Jill families participated in various activities including workshops, athletic competitions, regional elections, parties and plenary sessions where they learned how to conduct Jack and Jill business. The conference also included a gala to celebrate the region’s graduating seniors. As the host chapter, GFR moms and dads (Pops on Patrol) and regional representatives put in long hours to execute this event. However, the lessons learned by the students, the lifelong friendships made and the smiles on each face made it all worth it!

Sports Day
On Sports Day, our South Central Jack & Jill athletes competed in chess, golf, cheerleading, basketball, volleyball, track and field, tennis, African-American trivia and many other games. The teens embodied the “play” in the Jack & Jill motto "‘Live, Work and Play Together’.
Community Day/College Fair
After participating in an informative college fair, the teens took part in community service projects to benefit local residents. Teens made blankets, prepared care packages, wrote encouraging notes, and designed t-shirts for those in need. Families also raised funds for local non-profits. Philanthropy and community service are pillars of our organization.
